Simon Le Bon proved there’s no such thing as holidays when you’re a pop star as he hit the stage for an impromptu performance of Hungry Like The Wolf during a trip to Formentera.
The Duran Duran star was at the Juan y Andrea restaurant on the Balearic Island when he joined the musician who was playing the venue on stage to belt out the classic track.
Sharing a video of the moment on Facebook, the restaurant wrote: “Suddenly a man gets up from his table, approaches our guitarist and asks him for a song.
“He turns out to be Simon Le Bon, singer of Duran Duran, who gives us this wonderful moment. Thanks!”
Simon’s break comes as the group prepares to return with their 15th album ‘Future Past’, due October 22.
The album features 12 new tracks, including singles Invisible and More Joy!, and appearances from the likes of Blur’s Graham Coxon and long-time David Bowie pianist Mike Garson, and guest vocals from Lykke Li.
Three bonus songs are included with the deluxe edition of the record, which is available to pre-order on CD, vinyl and cassette.
