Rick Astley joined Bastille on stage for a performance of his classic hit Never Gonna Give You Up on Tuesday night.
The group hit the stage at London’s Hampton Court Palace with their ‘Bastille ReOrchestrated’ show and, mid-way through the set, Rick joined the band for a rare collaboration.
Singer Dan Smith performed the opening lines of the chart-topping hit, before Rick joined him for a full band rendition of the anthem.

Alongside a clip of the performance, Rick tweeted: “Last night @Bastille invited me to join them at their @HCPFestival gig.
“Thanks guys, what a great show!”
It’s not the first time the acts have shared the stage together; Rick joined Bastille onstage and drummed along to their hit tune Pompeii at the 2019 Isle of Wight Festival.
Earlier this year, the singer celebrated his Stock Aitken Waterman classic passing one billion views on YouTube.
To mark the milestone, he unveiled a limited edition, signed 7” coloured vinyl single of the track, out later this year.
