Paris Hilton couldn’t help but sing along as her 2006 hit Stars Are Blind played during the men’s final at the US Open.
The DJ, who released her debut album ‘Paris’ 15 years ago, was spotted singing and dancing in her seat to her debut single while she and fiancé Carter Reum watched Daniil Medvedev triumph over Felix Auger-Aliassime.
“Love that they played my song #StarsAreBlind at the @USopen,” she captioned a video of the moment on Instagram.
“It was such an #iconic moment hearing it played in the giant stadium with my fiancé. #LovesIt #USTAfoundation.”
Nicole Scherzinger and Vanessa Hudgens were among those to comment on the post, along with Carter, who quipped: “Longest and best jumbotron dance ever!
“Thanks @tennischannel, Ken Solomon and @pinkyjs1!”
Paris released Stars Are Blind in June 2006 as the lead single from her LP, peaking at No. 5 in the UK and scoring a Top 20 hit in the US.
Since then, she’s released a series of standalone singles – most recently Pickle with NERVO and Tinie Tempah – and she told fans on Instagram more new tracks are on the way.
In a post celebrating her debut LP, Paris recently teased : “Happy 15th Anniversary to my debut studio album #Paris.
“Thank you to everyone who has supported these songs, and continue to listen to them today! Making this album was so life-changing and I’m so proud of how these songs have transcended the years.”
She added, “Can’t wait to continue to make more music for all of you soon,” along with the hashtags, “#Iconic #PopStarParis.”
