Cher shut down the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Tuesday (October 15) night with a performance of two of her classic hits.
The diva wrapped up the fashion event at the Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York City with a sensational performance of Strong Enough and Believe, both of which featured on her 1998 LP ‘Believe’.
For the first track, Cher was surrounded by dancers and a choir, before being joined by models including Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Candice Swanepoel and Adriana Lima for the second number.
Other performers included K-pop star LISA and South African singer Tyla.
Prior to the show, Cher told Entertainment Tonight she was excited to be a part of the event, sharing: “I like that it’s all women. It’s like if you are going to go to something like this, I think that all women can really make a difference.”
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was cancelled in 2019 after brand executives were criticised for a lack of diversity and inclusivity.
However, they announced it would return this year and “deliver precisely what our customers have been asking for – the glamour, runway, fashion, fun, wings, entertainment – all through a powerful, modern lens reflecting who we are today”.
