The trailer coincides with the release of an additional batch of tickets for the shows, which are now running until December 4, 2022.
A planned release of the trailer was previously delayed following an incident at an ABBA tribute concert in Sweden, in which a man fell seven stories and two people lost their lives. A third was hospitalised with non-life threatening injuries.
The ABBA Voyage account tweeted: “In the light of the tragic news at the tribute concert in Sweden last night, we have decided to hold off on releasing our concert trailer until tomorrow.”
Following the global announcement of new music from the Swedish supergroup, ‘Voyage’ broke Universal Music UK’s record for the biggest ever album pre-order, racking over 80,000 UK sales to date.
In a review of the album, Retro Pop called ‘Voyage’ “a fitting closing chapter in the tale of Sweden’s best-loved musical export”
‘Voyage’ is available on CD, vinyl and cassette.
