VV Brown is set to release new music this year.
It’s been eight years since the Shark in the Water singer released her third and most recent LP, ‘Glitch’, but in a post on Instagram she revealed plans to return in 2023.
“2022 you have been wild. I am incredibly excited about 2023! New music is finally coming,” she posted. “Remember social media isn’t real and the most important thing is family, friends kindness and love. Go get your dreams. You only live once.”
In 2021, the singer celebrated her debut album, ‘Travelling Like The Light’, by releasing a special edition of the record, as well as her ‘lost’ second album.
“‘Travelling Like The Light’ was such a special record for me”, she said at the time. “We sold a million records worldwide – an achievement I am so proud of – and it really made me who I am today.”
Of the planned follow-up ‘Lollipops And Politics’ – which she finally released as part of the crowd-funded effort – she added: “In between my major label and indie transition I created an album that never got released called ‘Lollipops And Politics’. I was really proud of this work but I felt so lost at the time”.
