Usher will release his concert film ‘Usher: Rendezvous’ live from Paris on September 12.
Set to premiere in cinemas for a limited run, the film was recorded during his eight-show residency during Paris Fashion Week at La Seine Musicale in 2023 and features the US star’s biggest hits.
“USHER: RENDEZVOUS IN PARIS is coming to cinemas WORLDWIDE Sept 12 – 15,” he announced in a post on Instagram. “It was a gift to perform in the City of Lights and I can’t wait to share that gift to U.”
The movie – which will be released in 2000 theatres worldwide – was directed by Anthony Mandler, with Usher calling the concerts a “special experience”.
“Paris was a special experience for me as an entertainer and for my fans,” he shared. “I hope those who weren’t able to make it in person get to experience how special it was. For those of you who were there, I hope you see the show through a different lens.”
Before then, the Yeah! hitmaker will launch his ‘Past Present Future Tour’ in Atlanta, Georgia on August 14, with the run coming to the UK and Europe in 2025.
