The Wanted star Tom Parker was overcome with emotion as he returned to the stage with the group for the first time in seven years.
The Glad You Came hitmakers enjoyed a successful, chart-topping run from 2009-2014, before calling time on the band to pursue solo careers.
Earlier this month, the boys reunited and, on Tuesday, they made their stage return as part of Tom’s ‘Inside My Head’ gig at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
The show was staged in support of Stand Up To Cancer and comes as the singer was diagnosed with stage four glioblastoma.
Speaking to The Sun backstage at the gig, he shared: “Twelve months ago I couldn’t even get out of bed. It’s been a crazy journey.
“This disease affects people of all ages, kids to adults. The support has been amazing.”
Tom added: “It’s been a tough year.
“I want to say thanks to you boys, I love them a lot, and my wife Kelsey — I love her so much. She has been an absolute rock.”
Closing out a three-song set, bandmate Jay McGuinness paid tribute to Tom, who became visibly emotional, saying: “Tom, thank you for always being a beacon of light for us and for everyone here.
“You’ve shown us how you can stand up to cancer.”
Ed Sheeran, Liam Payne, KSI and Sigrid were among those who also performed during the show.
The Wanted are set to hit the road with a mega 12-date UK arena tour early 2022, in support of their best-of collection ‘Most Wanted – Greatest Hits’. Tickets are on sale now.
‘Most Wanted – The Greatest Hits’, out November 12, is available to pre-order on CD and Cassette.
