Tina Barrett is keen for another S Club reunion – but only if all seven members agree to the project.
The group got back together in 2015 for a UK arena tour but have yet to take part in any further projects, including the release of new music.
Speaking on ‘The Hundamental Guide to Life’ podcast, Tina opened up about future plans with the band, confessing she Hannah Spearritt, Bradley McIntosh and Rachel Stevens would all love to give things another shot.
“I have to say, some of the members are up for it. I can actually say who,” she teased. “I know Rachel wants to do it, Hannah wants to do it. I would definitely love to do it, and Brad.
“But obviously we need all seven so we are going to see what happens really. More than half are up for it so you never know.”
Although Tina didn’t name the remaining three members of the group, her comments implied Jo O’Meara, Jon Lee and Paul Cattermole have yet to be convinced to rejoin the fold.
Rachel is currently appearing on the latest series of ITV’s ‘Dancing on Ice’ and, last year, Jo released her second solo LP ‘With Love‘.
Speaking to Retro Pop at the time, she said of a potential reunion: “I think everyone is busy living their own lives and having their individual careers.
“Seven people is a lot to round up… There are no plans.”
