The Veronicas have gone disco with the latest single from their forthcoming album, ‘Gothic Summer’.
Here To Dance sees Jessica and Lisa Origliasso deliver their trademark energetic vocals over funk-disco rhythmic bass and shimmery strings, harking back to huge hits like 4Ever and Untouched.
“This song is about disengaging from drama, whether online or personal, and remaining unbothered,” Jessica explains. “‘I don’t care who’s watching, I’m just here to dance’ is a metaphor and a directive to go where the love is.”
It follows a string of releases from the pair’s first album in three years, after Detox and Perfect.
