The Jordan is back with her brand new single, Dancefloor.
Arriving months after the release of her debut album, ‘Nowhere Near The Sky’, the track celebrates the openness and inclusivity of coming together and dancing the night away.
“Free. Expressive. The loudest and largest version of ourselves. That’s what the Dancefloor makes of us,” says the singer, real name Caroline van der Leeuw, who shot to fame as frontwoman of jazz-pop collective Caro Emerald.
“This song is an open invitation to anyone who feels like joining in, wherever you come from. Cause it’s our own freaking song and we can do whatever the hell we want.”.

The release coincides with The Jordan’s UK TV debut on ‘Later… With Jools Holland’, during which she performed album cut Mmm.
In a review of the album, RETROPOP said “the Dutch superstar triumphs in crafting a captivating collection that speaks of the past while looking ahead to a bold new future”.
