Texas bring the summer sun in the music video for their latest single You Can Call Me.
The track is taken from their UK Top 3 album ‘Hi’, released earlier this year, which marked the band’s highest charting studio album since ‘The Hush’ in 1999.
The video for You Can Call Me, directed by long-term collaborator Angelica Bjornsson, is filmed at Sharleen Spiteri’s beautiful home in Wales.
It’s filmed to look like a series of home tapes, the abundance of greenery and sun soaked shots echo channel the track’s summer-filled vibe.
Of the video, Sharleen said: “Home is where my heart is, so I wanted to share a little bit of that feeling with this video.”
In our review of the record, Retro Pop called ‘Hi’ “one of Texas’ strongest, most enjoyable albums” to date
‘Hi’ is available on CD, vinyl and cassette.
