Texas are back with their brand new single After All.
Lifted from ‘The Very Best Of 1989 – 2023’, the stomping single is one of two new recordings featured on the 24-song LP, out June 16.
It features selections from the group’s entire career, including classic hits like I Don’t Want A Lover, Summer Son, Halo, Say What You Want, and Inner Smile.
“No’ bad for a hairdresser fae Glasgow,” jokes frontwoman Sharleen Spiteri while looking back on the band’s career, which has to-date delivered 10 hit albums and seen the group pick up the Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Song Collection.
“But I gotta be honest: I still feel like I’m really close to the beginning. And the energy and the vibe between us all – as a band I don’t think we’ve ever been happier, and I don’t think we’ve ever been tighter.
“I don’t think we’ve ever been more definite about who we are.”
