Tears For Fears have released the music video for their latest single My Demons.
Lifted from their hit album ‘The Tipping Point’, the track follows Break The Man, No Small Thing and The Tipping Point in the group’s recent string of releases.
Of the song, Roland Orzabal says: “We did a lot of work in the early days of this album with producer & songwriter Sacha Skarbek, and his programmer Florian Reutter from Germany. They presented us with a backing track, and we just went, ‘Whoa.’
“Then we came up with some crazy lyrics about surveillance and all kinds of stuff. This song is one hell of a noise, and we’re very proud because the synthesisers are SO aggressive here.
“Like us, My Demons rocks in its own way.”
The provocative video for My Demons was created by director and photographer Heather Gildroy and features a spectacular performance from dancer/choreographer Ed Monroe.
In a review of the album, Retro Pop said ‘The Tipping Point’ “feeds into the history of the band, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, referencing the pair’s journey to create the record along with key musical moments from their storied career.”
The Tipping Point’ is available now.
