Take That are celebrating their new album, ‘This Life’, with the launch of their own podcast.
Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald’s six-part series will premiere next Thursday (October 19) and culminate on November 23 – the day before the LP is released.
It’s set to document their journey from the inception of Take That in 1990 to the present day.
They said: “Who’d have thought after all this time we’d be adding professional podcasters to our resumes?
“It’s been a real treat to sit down together and just chat, about some things we’ve talked about before and some things we haven’t.
“We hope people enjoy listening to us as we reminisce on old times and look ahead to the future of Take That.”
Preceded by the lead single Windows, ‘This Life’ marks their first original LP since 2017’s ‘Wonderland’.
“It’s been a wonderful experience being back in the studio together making this record. It has that feeling of spreading your wings, letting out the old and bringing in the new,” says the band.
‘We’re incredibly proud of the new album – there’s a sense of togetherness, whether that’s us coming back together as a band or people wanting connection in their own lives. We’re excited for this new chapter!”
Alongside the LP, the trio will embark on a huge stadium and arena tour in 2024, play 29 dates across 15 cities around the UK and Ireland, launching in April with shows through July.
They will be joined on the tour by very special guest, Olly Murs.
