Howard Donald is “made up” to have reached the final of ‘The Masked Dancer’ after finishing in third place.
The Take That star was unveiled as Zip during Saturday’s finale, which was won by Olympic gymnast Louis Smith, who performed under the guise of Carwash.
After he was unmasked, Howard took to Twitter to share pictures from the show, including a backstage snap of him stretching in his costume.
Alongside the photo, which saw the Back for Good himaker holding onto each foot while showing off his flexibility in a dramatic split position, he penned: “Being unmasked was exhilarating after walking round the studio incognito @MaskedSingerUK.”

Speaking during the final after his identity was revealed, Howard admitted it was hard to keep his involvement in the show a secret from his two daughters.
“[It was] super hard – my daughters don’t even know,” he insisted. “One’s 21 and one’s 16 and they’re like, ‘What are you doing in London?’
“I’m so made up that I made it to the final, I got a bronze medal.”
Former EastEnders actress Tamzin Outhwaite was unveiled as Scarecrow, finishing in fourth place, while the battle between the final two unmasked runner-up Bonnie Langford as Squirrel.
Howard isn’t the only big pop name to appear on the new series – former Eternal star Louise was previously unmasked as Flamingo.
