Take That are planning to work on new music with Jax Jones, according to the DJ.
Jones – who has scored hits with Raye, Demi Lovato, Years & Years, Ella Henderson and others – revealed the trio’s plans in an interview with The Sun’s Bizarre column.
Speaking at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard at The O2 in London, he said: “I wanna collaborate with as many names as I can next year, whether it’s Take That, Kylie Minogue, more stuff with Calum, watch this space, it’s gonna be sick.
“I saw Gary Barlow the other day, man, he gave me a bottle of his red wine and we’re getting in the studio.”
The Greatest Day hitmakers recently returned to the top of the UK charts with their ninth album, ‘This Life’, featuring the singles Windows and Brand New Sun.
In a review of the album, RETROPOP praised ‘This Life’ for its “understated, slow-burning numbers that highlight the trio’s musicianship”, making for “a genuinely interesting album from the boy band icons”.
