Supersister – who scored a UK Top 20 hit with their debut single Coffee – look set to make a comeback.
The group released three singles during their initial run, including Shopping and Summer Gonna Come Again, with the trio teasing a major gig in a post on Instagram.
A short video shared to Stories sees Eleanor Phillips, Louise Fudge and Tina Peacock seated around a table and raising a toast, alongside the caption: “Reunion incoming. Wine instead of coffee.”
The group tagged London’s Mighty Hoopla festival in the post, as Coffee played in the background.
Supersister had been signed to Gut Records and supported bands such as Steps and Hear’Say while working on their debut album. However, when Gut Records went bankrupt in 2008, their album ‘Lip Service’ remained unreleased.
