Suede have released ‘Autofiction: Expanded’ – the brand new deluxe edition of the band’s ninth studio album.

Peaking at No. 2 following its release last year – becoming the band’s highest-charting album in 23 years – the new edition is packaged with rare bonus tracks, unheard material and a full live album.

Suede release The Sadness In You, The Sadness In Me from Autofiction: Expanded

Alongside the original LP, featured are six extra tracks and rarities; four of the songs that were only available during the first week following the album’s original 2022 release, plus You Don’t Know Me from the Japanese edition of the album and the previously-unheard There Is No Me If There Is No You.

Meanwhile, the third disc contains the new ‘Autofiction’ live album, recorded at shows across Suede’s entirely sold-out UK tour in March 2023.

“Autofiction is Suede’s punk record,” says Brett Anderson. “No whistles and bells. Just the five of us in a room with all the glitches and fuck-ups revealed; the band themselves exposed in all their primal mess.”

The release coincides with Suede’s final ‘Autofiction’ live performances at seven sold out shows across the UK, including three nights at London’s Brixton Electric.

In June 2024, the band will join the Manic Street Preachers for a massive co-headline outdoor tour of the UK and Ireland, following a sold out 2022 joint US tour.
