All five Spice Girls reunited on Saturday (April 20) night to celebrate Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday.
Posh was joined by Mel B, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Melanie C as she celebrated her milestone birthday in London, during which the ’90s pop icons thrilled guests with a performance of their classic hit, Stop.
“I mean come on x,” Victoria’s husband, David Beckham, wrote alongside a video of the moment.
In the comments, Victoria responded: “Best night ever! Happy Birthday to me! I love you all so much! #SpiceUpYourLife.”
The reunion comes weeks after Mel B teased Spice Girls will be back together later this year as they celebrate 30 years since the group was formed.
It was during a chat on ‘Loose Women’ that co-host Christine Lampard asked about their plans, saying: “We need happiness, we need empowerment back again, we need Spice Girls back basically.”
“Tell me about it,” Scary Spice replied, prompting Christine to press for more details.
“Oh no, we are definitely doing something,” she insisted. “I’m probably going to get told off, but I’ve said it. There you go.
“We’ll be announcing at some point later this year. Now I’m going to be in trouble.”
And she was right – loose-lipped Mel later revealed she’d been kicked out of the girls’ group chat, admitting: “That always happens to me, because I say things.
“You know, I get so excited when it comes to Spice Girls, because it is 30 years. And, you know, we’ve got a lot to celebrate — the fact that we’re all still healthy and living life and all talking still. It’s nice, so I can’t say anything else to get myself kicked out!”
Marking 30 years to the day since they first auditioned, the group shared a video montage from the process on social media last month, soundtracked by their iconic hit Wannabe.
