Sophie Ellis-Bextor has released the third track from her forthcoming album, ‘HANA’.
Lost In The Sunshine follows Breaking The Circle and Everything Is Sweet, with the single described by Sophie as being “about a lazy, hazy, hot, romantic, perfectly sunny day with the one you love”.

Alongside the track, Sophie has shared a sun-soaked black-and-white music video, shot in Rome, Italy, that captures the essence of her latest release.
Due this summer, ‘HANA’ was born of a 2020 trip to Japan, “before the world tilted,” with the singer-songwriter explaining: “Its name means blossom […] There are themes of optimism, new starts, adventures and reflections.”
She’ll celebrate the release with a one-off gig at Lafayette Kings Cross in London,
Sophie previously teased the LP features “a lot of synthesisers,” with collaborator Ed Harcourt describing the sound as “kaleidoscopic joy”.
‘HANA’ is out June 2 and available to pre-order now. Tickets for the June 30 gig are on sale now.
