Sophie Ellis-Bextor has unveiled an all-star line-up of special guests for her New Year’s Eve show.
The Murder On The Dancefloor hitmaker will bring in 2025 with viewers across the UK when she fronts the BBC special, which will see the singer joined by a handful of fellow pop stars.
Joining Sophie is fellow disco sensation Jessie Ware, Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears, The Last Dinner Party guitarist Emily Roberts, and the MDL Singers.
“I always love a party, and I immediately think of sparkles, singing and dancing for a New Year’s Eve celebration and that’s what I’ll be bringing with me for my BBC One performance this New Year!” says the singer, who will release a new album in 2025.
“The band and I can’t wait, and we have some special surprises planned. I’m so honoured to have been asked to bid a fond farewell to 2024 with you all, and to welcome in an exciting 2025 together. Get your disco shoes ready! I’ll be wearing mine…”
