Simple Minds have shared the music video for their latest single Vision Thing.
The track is the first to be lifted from the group’s forthcoming album ‘Direction Of The Heart’ and is a tribute to frontman Jim Kerr’s late father, who passed away in 2019.
In the visual, the group is seen performing at the Teatro Antico di Taormina in Sicily, while interspersed shots show the band members in the surrounding environment.
‘Direction Of The Heart’ features nine new tracks and was recorded at Hamburg’s Chameleon Studios.
Album cut Human Traffic features Sparks frontman Russell Mael and included on the LP is a cover of The Call’s 1983 single The Walls Came Down.
‘Direction Of The Heart’ is out October 21 and available to pre-order now.
