Shania Twain hopes to collaborate with pop superstar Dua Lipa.
The country pop icon is riding high in the Top 40 with her Anne Marie collaboration, Unhealthy, and she already has her sights set on another big-name duet.
Speaking with Diplo on her Apple Music show, Home Now Radio, about dua’s recent chart smash Cold Heart (Pnau Remix) with Elton John, the You’re Still The One hitmaker shared: “I’m such a big fan of both Dua Lipa and Elton John, and Elton John I’ve been on stage with him a couple of times.
“Dua Lipa, she’s on my bucket list to meet and to perform with. So I’ll just leave it at that. Dua Lipa, if you’re out there and you can hear me, let’s do this.”
Shania recently toured the US with her ‘Queen of Me Tour’, which is set to hit the UK and Ireland in September with shows across the country.
“I want to celebrate this new chapter with you all on my tour,” she says. “Vegas has been a dream, but I’m ready to be on the road and sing with you, dance with you and have a kick ass night out with you! This one’s gonna be a big party – no inhibitions, no conditions, let’s get a little out of line!
“I’ll be Queen Of Me – you be Queen of YOU!”
Additionally, Shania and Live Nation have announced that £/€1.50 per ticket sold (less deductions for tax and royalties) will be donated to Shania Kids Can, which provides services that promote positive change in children’s lives in times of crises and economic hardship.
