Selena Gomez is planning to retire from music and focus on acting after her next album. 

The Lose You To Love Me singer launched her music career while appearing on Disney’s ‘Wizards Of Waverly Place’, releasing three albums as Selena Gomez & The Scene before going solo. 

Another trio of records followed, but speaking in an upcoming episode of the SmartLess podcast, the multi-hyphenate opened up on her plans for the future. 

“I started having a lot of fun with music and then touring was really fun,” she said. “But I was doing my TV show at the same time and I found it really fun so I just kept going. But the older I get, the more I would like to find something to settle on.

“I do feel like I have one more album in me.”

The Come & Get It hitmaker added: “I wanted to be an actress, I never really intended on being a singer.

“I don’t think I’m the best singer but I do know how to tell stories and I love being able to make songs.”
