Sarah Harding has surprise released a remix bundle for her latest single Wear It Like a Crown.
The Girls Aloud star, who is battling “advanced” breast cancer, released her second solo single back in March and, on Thursday (April 15), she shared a pair of remixed for the tune on streaming and download sites.
Along with the single version of the track, the three-song collection also includes the Shortland Remix and Radio Edit, taking the pop banger straight to the dance floor with pulsing beats and infectious synths.
The Threads singer released the track on March 26 and, in a post on social media, Sarah explained she was compelled to release the single after fans sent her Girls Aloud song Hear Me Out to the top of the UK iTunes chart in support of her memoir of the same name.

“It’s been lovely to hear that you guys have been enjoying ‘Hear Me Out’, both the book & the song,” penned Sarah. “I can’t believe you nutters got the song not only into the charts, but to NUMBER 1! I love you all so much, you’re the best people in the world.
“So, while I was searching through my laptop for old photos to include in the book I actually came across a song I’d recorded about ten years ago. I’ve always really loved it, and it made me feel a bit sad that no one ever got to hear it.
“I mentioned this to my team and they said we could release it, and I thought ‘why the hell not?’.”
Profits from the single will be donated to the Christie NHS Foundation, where Sarah is receiving treatment amid her illness.
Sarah revealed she’d been diagnosed with breast cancer last August, shortly after the girls all reconnected ahead of a potential reunion, and in ‘Hear Me Out’ she confessed doctors advised her Christmas 2020 may be her last.
“In December my doctor told me that the upcoming Christmas would probably be my last,” she confesses. “I don’t want an exact prognosis. I don’t know why anyone would want that. Comfort and being as pain-free as possible is what’s important to me now.
“I’m trying to live and enjoy every second of my life, however long it might be. I am having a glass of wine or two during all this, because it helps me relax. I’m sure some people might think that’s not a great idea, but I want to try to enjoy myself.
“I’m at a stage now where I don’t know how many months I have left. Who knows, maybe I’ll surprise everyone, but that’s how I’m looking at things.”
‘Hear Me Out’ is out now.
