Pop duo Same Difference are back with one final single to raise funds for the NHS amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Brother-sister duo Sean Smith and Sarah Wilson took to Twitter on Tuesday to confirm the news, revealing their single One Life, One Love will be released on August 3rd.

“We’ve teamed up with NHS Charities Together to reunite the band for one last time for a charity record, for the sake of nostalgia,” Sean said.

The track, the group’s first single in 10 years, features students from Sarah’s Performing Arts school, SD Studios, and will raise money for frontline workers amid the ongoing Covid-19 crisis.

“We’ve been working really hard behind the scenes, socially distanced – everybody’s learned this song through Zoom, and all the children at the studios have sent in their handprints to create the artwork,” Sarah added of the “collective effort” involved.

The track is available to pre-order and pre-save on download and streaming sites now.

Additionally, there are 100 CD single copies of the track available to purchase here, with a bonus sing-a-long version included.

Same Difference rose to fame on The X Factor back in 2008, and went on to release two brilliant albums – Pop and The Rest Is History – before parting ways.

A third album, Superheroes, is rumoured to have been recorded under a new deal with London Records before the separation, but the tracks have yet to be released.
