Saint Etienne have released the music video for their latest single Penlop.
Lifted from the group’s forthcoming album ‘I’ve Been Trying To Tell You’, the ambient track samples Lightning Seeds’ 1991 tune Joy.
The music video is taken from the LP’s accompanying film, directed by photographer Alasdair McLellan, set to premiere at NFT1 on London’s Southbank on September 3.
It features a number of scenes, including bikers riding down country lanes, crossing the Prince of Wales Bridge and nighttime shots of the Blackpool Illuminations, along with a glimpse of the band together in black and white.
Penlop, out now digitally, follows previous releases Pond House and Music Again from the sample-led project, out September 10.
