Saint Etienne have unveiled an expanded box set version of their latest album ‘I’ve Been Trying To Tell You’
The LP, due September 10, is preceded by lead single Pond House, which samples Natalie Imbruglia’s hit single Beauty on the Fire.
And much like the group’s early work, the new LP is built on samples from 1997 to 2001, which feature across its eight tracks.
‘I’ve Been Trying To Tell You’ is available to pre-order across CD, vinyl and cassette formats, and a new box set edition features a number of exclusives.
Alongside the standard black vinyl pressing of the record, there’s a 10” vinyl single featuring two new tracks, Escalade and Hello Holly.
Also included is a DVD of the Alasdair McLellan movie that accompanies the LP and a film poster signed by the director.
There are also prints signed by Saint Etienne, enamel pins and stickers, plus a download card for all music contained in the box set.
The collection is available to pre order from August 12.
Saint Etienne’s film ‘I’ve Been Trying To Tell You’, helmed by photographer Alasdair McLellan, is set to premiere at NFT1 on London’s Southbank on September 3.
The premiere will be accompanied by a whole weekend of ‘The Films Of Saint Etienne’.
Following the album release, Saint Etienne will be heading out on tour across the UK in November, with tickets on sale now.
