S Club 7 have hinted they may release new music on the back of their ‘Reunited’ Arena Tour.
The group will hit the road in October for a run of 12 gigs across the UK and Ireland, including two stops at The O2, London.
Set to feature all of their hits and selections from the band’s first four albums, the concerts mark 25 years since S Club 7 was formed – and they’re already making more plans for the future.
Beyond the live shows, the group has floated the idea of returning to the studio to work on new material, which will be their first since 2003.
“It’s something that we have spoken about and it’s something we would all definitely be up for, but at the minute we’re just seeing how the tour goes,” reveals Jon Lee, insisting they are “actually really excited” about recording new tracks.
After topping the UK charts with their debut single Bring It All Back in 1998, the group went on to earn a total of four UK No. 1 singles, a UK No. 1 album, and among a string of global chart hits a Top 10 placement on the US Billboard Hot 100 with Never Had a Dream Come True.
Speaking about the new shows, Jo O’Meara adds: “We’re just gonna go out and have such a giggle and such a good time. We’re all older now and we can go out there and enjoy ourselves, because the pressure is not as intense as maybe it was back then. So now we can really have an S Club Party!”
