Róisín Murphy has released two new remixes lifted from her hit 2020 album ‘Róisín Machine’.
The star has called on The Reflex to work their magic on Incapable and Narcissus, both of which were released as singles from the former Moloko frontwoman’s fifth solo effort.
The bundle comes weeks after the ‘Crooked Machine’ remix album, which saw the star’s long-time collaborator Crooked Man aka DJ Parrot revisit the set in his own unique style.
Of the album, she says: “Parrot doesn’t try to be ‘cool’, I reckon that’s the last thing on his mind. He makes music with a real sense of responsibility to the craft.
“I think ‘Crooked Machine’ is one of his greatest achievements so far. I left him and Fat Dave to their own devices on this and they have outdone themselves!
“I absolutely love it! I think I prefer it to the original album, slightly less me and all the more ‘cool’ for it!”
And Róisín was out pushing the set with a performance at Glastonbury’s ‘Live at Worthy Farm’ livestream event, with Honey Dijon.
Róisín Murphy – ‘The Reflex Revisions’ is available July 2 and available to pre-order on Vinyl.
