Róisín Murphy is hitting the virtual stage for a live stream gig to launch Mixcloud’s new ticketing service for online shows.
Following the release of her critically-acclaimed, Top20 album Róisín Machine, the dancefloor superstar will reunite with her band for the online event on November 14th.
Announcing her gig, Róisín said: “That’s it… I’m getting the band back together! I need to feel a connection with other musicians, in the here and now.
“With a live show and live band anything can and will happen,” she continued. “This is a unique opportunity to bring the music and visuals together in new and exciting ways.”
Mixcloud boasts millions of creators and listeners worldwide, including radio shows, DJ mixes and podcasts, but is now introducing ticketed streams to “accurately account for and distribute royalties to the correct rights holders, as well as the artists performing.”
