Robbie Williams has reportedly turned down an offer to perform at Las Vegas’ Voltaire venue.

Having recently hosted Kylie Minogue‘s ‘More Than A Residency’ show, bosses at the club eyed Angels hitmaker Robbie as the next big name to take to the stage for an extended run.

However, according to The Sun’s Bizarre column the former Take That star opted out of the deal, with insiders revealing: “Robbie is admired by the Voltaire team professionally and personally.

“They love his music and stage craft and thought that his super stage personality and charisma seemed to be the perfect fit for them. But when they packaged up the offer, Rob turned them down.

“They were absolutely gutted as the tickets would have sold out immediately. But Robbie seems to be wanting to take a more careful approach to what he does next.”

It comes as the Feel singer prepares to launch his new movie biopic ‘Better Man’ later this year, with the film featuring the new song Forbidden Road on its soundtrack.

Despite sure competition from Lady Gaga‘s ‘Joker’ and Ariana Grande‘s ‘Wicked’, sources say Robbie fancies his chances at Oscars success, sharing: “Robbie is excited not just for the chance to present his movie to the world, but also to have a crack at the Oscars.

“Paramount has faith in pushing the tune out to voters and promoting the track with their trailers and promos. Of course there are no guarantees, but he has a stellar reputation and a terrific ability to entertain and that could help his case.”

“Rob stands a great chance of being shortlisted at the Golden Globes, too. The voters are international and have a greater understanding of his contribution to the world of pop and long-term success.”

‘Better Man’ hits cinemas in Australia on December 26, with a wider release slated for January 17, 2025.
