Robbie Williams has released an accompanying visual for his recent single Lost.
Earlier this year, the Angels singer shared the track as the first original recording from his retrospective LP ‘XXV’, which saw the former Take That star smash chart records by earning his 14th chart-topper.
“Thank you to everyone who’s supported the album: everyone who’s bought it, streamed it, downloaded it and reviewed it,” he said in celebration of the milestone.
“I’m so pleased that it’s gone to No. 1, and whilst it feels strange to be receiving an award during these sombre times, I wanted to thank you all for your support and dedicate this to the fans, who I never take for granted. I really appreciate it, thank you so much.”
In a review of the album, Retro Pop said ‘XXV’ “marries Robbie’s classic sound with nuances found in his swing repertoire, celebrating the past 25 years and opening the door to the next era in his career.”
‘XXV’ is available now.
Robbie recently announced two special shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall on November 6 and 7, during which he will perform a mixture of swing classics and some of his biggest hits.
The concerts will be filmed for a major scene in the upcoming film, ‘Better Man’, which will tell the story of Robbie’s life.
The shows will be filmed for a scene portraying Robbie’s triumphant ‘Live At The Albert’ show in 2001.
Written, produced and directed by Michael Gracey, the movie will give fans an introspective look into the experiences that shaped Robbie Williams both on and off stage.
Filming commenced this year in Melbourne with Robbie travelling Down Under recently to shoot scenes and now the cameras are heading to the UK.
