Robbie Williams and Lufthaus are back with their latest track Soul Seekers.
The single serves as the follow-up to April release To The Light and comes ahead of Robbie’s UK and European tour, which runs through the autumn.
Of the track, he says: “I have been working on a project with my Australian friends Tim & Flynn @lufthausmusic.
“Today sees the release of our latest track ‘Soul Seekers’. Lufthaus will be the supporting act on my UK & Europe tours x.”
The group previously opened up on their latest project, revealing: “This project has been keeping us busy in the studio throughout the pandemic, so we’re delighted to now be releasing the first single.
“We’ve purposely kept Lufthaus unrevealed, so we’re looking forward to releasing more music and revealing more material over the coming months,” they added.
Robbie went on to tease that he’s got plenty of other new music ready to go, confessing he’s “constantly writing new songs”.
“There is stuff that’s on my computer now that I wrote two years ago that probably won’t see the light of day for another two years,” he added.
Robbie recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of his solo career with the release of ‘XXV’, featuring re-recorded orchestral versions of his biggest hits and personal favourite tracks.
The track debuted at No. 1, giving the hitmaker a record 14th solo chart-topper, which saw Robbie surpasses Elvis Presley as the solo artist with the most UK No. 1 albums.
“Thank you to everyone who’s supported the album: everyone who’s bought it, streamed it, downloaded it and reviewed it,” he said in celebration of the milestone.
“I’m so pleased that it’s gone to No. 1, and whilst it feels strange to be receiving an award during these sombre times, I wanted to thank you all for your support and dedicate this to the fans, who I never take for granted. I really appreciate it, thank you so much.”
In a review of the album, Retro Pop said ‘XXV’ “marries Robbie’s classic sound with nuances found in his swing repertoire, celebrating the past 25 years and opening the door to the next era in his career.”
‘XXV’ is available now.
