Robbie Williams has released new versions of Eternity and The Road To Mandalay from his forthcoming album ‘XXV’.
The LP features newly orchestrated versions of the Rock DJ hitmaker’s biggest hits and best-loved singles, as he marks 25 years of his solo career.
Coinciding with the 21st anniversary of his double A-side release, Robbie has made his re-recordings of the classic tracks available across digital platforms.
“What Guy and the orchestra have done have made me so proud of Eternity,” he says.
The former Take That star has collaborated with the Dutch jazz and pop orchestra Metropole Orkest on the project, which features new interpretations of tracks from his celebrated career.
“I’m so excited to announce my new album ‘XXV’ which celebrates many of my favourite songs from the past 25 years,” he says.
“Each track has a special place in my heart so it was a real thrill to record them again with the Metropole Orkest. Can’t wait for you all to hear it.”
Following its release, Robbie will return to the stage in October for a string of high-octane arena dates, opening with two nights at London’s The O2, with stops in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin.
‘XXV’ is out September 9 and available to pre-order now.
