Ringo Starr wished Melanie C “peace and love” ahead of her latest ‘Dancing With the Stars’ performance.
The Spice Girls star hit the dance floor for a foxtrot performance to the Liverpudlian group’s classic hit Here Comes the Sun, and she couldn’t believe her eyes when Ringo sent in a video message.
“I just wanted to say best of luck tonight and we are both from Liverpool,” he said in the clip, which she later posted on her Instagram Stories.
“It doesn’t matter where we live, that is where we are both from so I send you peace and love and all the best.”
The Stop hitmaker watched the video message ahead of her performance, which saw he safely through to next week’s show, and was visibly shocked by the support.
“This whole experience is surreal enough and then one of the Beatles is wishing us luck,” admitted Melanie, who has been paired with Gleb Savchenko.
“What is going on?”
The 2 Become 1 hitmaker scored an impressive 27 out of 40 with her opening performance of Spice Girls’ breakout hit Wannabe during the show’s opening week, and earned a 30 for her follow-up.
