Rick Astley has offered up a second teaser of his upcoming album, ‘Are We There Yet?’, with his latest track, Never Gonna Stop.
The follow-up to lead release, Dippin My Feet, is a soulful R&B ballad that showcases his distinctive vocals and a glimpse of what’s to come from his ninth LP.
“I am so excited about the release of ‘Never Gonna Stop’, the second single from my forthcoming album ‘Are We There Yet?’,” he says. “I love the vibe of it and I hope you love it too. Rick x.”

‘Are We There Yet?‘ is Rick’s first album in five years and builds upon the experiences he’s gone through since the release of 2018’s ‘Beautiful Life’.
With a multitude of inspirations – from his experience in lockdown to celebrating the music of The Smiths during life-affirming shows with Blossoms and his huge sold-out North American arena tour with New Kids On The Block, Salt ‘N’ Pepa and En Vogue – the LP reflects the mindset of a musician 35+ years into his career.
“Now, that phrase has multiple meanings,” says Rick of the album title. “Are we there yet in my musical ambitions? Am I done with my career? Have we arrived? Or are we still travelling?”
‘Are We There Yet?’ is out October 6 and available to pre-order now.
The Never Gonna Give You Up hitmaker is set to hit the road in support of the album, launching with a pair of shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall in November before travelling across the UK, Ireland and Europe throughout February and March of 2024.
The Feeling will join the Together Forever star in London, with Belinda Carlisle appearing as support for the remaining UK dates and Scouting For Girls heading to Ireland. Support for the mainland Europe shows has yet to be announced.
