The first details for Record Store Day (RSD) 2025 have been confirmed.
The annual event returns for its 18th edition on April 12, with over 270 independent record shops across the UK, along with thousands more globally, set to stock a limited run of special releases.
There will also be a series of in-store parties, celebrating independent record store culture.
Marking its 18th edition, RSD has partnered with the Cheltenham-based DEYA Brewing Company, centred on both organisations’ focus on community and creativity.
According to organisers, DEYA is “the perfect partner to celebrate all things indie”, with a special RSD beer will be available in participating stores, bottle shops and pubs throughout the month of April.
Also working with RSD is Studio by Miraval – the French rosé wine company thats Chateau Miraval estate is home to one of the most iconic recording studios of all time – and British loudspeaker and headphone company Bowers & Wilkins.
