Mariah Carey topping the Billboard Hot 100 each year with her with holiday classic ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ is a given – and this time around was no different…
In 2025, the diva – who also returned to the charts earlier in the summer with her 15th studio album ‘Here For It All’ – went one step further, taking the record for the longest-running No 1 single on the chart.
Having previously held the title with her 1995 Boyz II Men collaboration ‘One Sweet Day’, which remained at the top for 16 weeks, this year saw Mimi overtake Lil Nas X‘s ‘Old Town Road’ and Shaboozey‘s ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’ with record 20th, 21st and 22nd weeks at the top spot.
It wasn’t the only chart feat she smashed in 2025, with the ‘Oh Santa!’ singer bumping her tally for total weeks spent at No. 1 on the chart over 100, closing out the season with a total of 101 weeks at the top spot.
