Kimberly Wyatt is set to hit the rink as the latest star to join ‘Dancing on Ice’.
The Pussycat Dolls star told bandmate Ashley Roberts – who served as a judge on the programme from 2013-2014, she’s feeling nervous about translating her dance skills to the ice.
Speaking on Heart Radio, the React hitmaker explained: “I have signed up for ‘Dancing on Ice’! I’m nervous, that ice is going to hit hard.
“I’m just excited to see what I can do on there. I’m up for a challenge!”
Kimberly will join pop star Rachel Stevens on the show, as part of a line-up that also includes Happy Mondays star Bez and Coronation Street actress Sally Dynevor.
She isn’t the first Pussycat Doll to compete on Dancing On Ice – Melody Thornton took part in the show back in 2019.
Kimberley recently insisted the band’s forthcoming reunion tour is still going ahead, and she’s set aside September 2022 for the postponed dates.
“I hate that this situation is happening, but I’m just going to stay optimistic,” she said.
“Nobody’s told me anything but the fact that we are going to be on tour September of next year, so I’m going to stay optimistic about that and sort of lay my heart into it because I’ve done everything I can to get this band back together.”
It comes following a legal spat between front woman Nicole Scherzinger and the band’s founder Robin Antin, who sued the singer, claiming she “refuses to participate in the tour” and has “demanded to renegotiate the terms” of their agreement.
