Pharrell Williams has surprise-released his new album ‘Black Yacht Rock Vol 1: City of Limitless Access’.
The US star released his latest project directly via his blackyachtrock.com/ on his 51st birthday and, at the time of writing, it’s not available via any other streaming platform.
The page also offers an option for fans to sign up to a new mailing list, with those who enrol receiving a “stay tuned” message
A full list of credits has yet to be shared, however artists such as Tyler, The Creator and Pusha T have shared details of the album on their Instagram Stories.
As yet, it appears to be unclear who has worked with Pharrell on the album although artists including Tyler, The Creator and Pusha T have both shared details of the album on their Instagram Stories.
Others have speculated that ‘Virginia’ – which is credited on the artwork – could be the name of a group, although this has yet to be confirmed and Pharrell has shared no further details about the release at this time.
The singer-songwriter and producer released his second and most-recent studio album, ‘Girl’, in March 2014. He recently teamed up with Miley Cyrus on the single release Doctor (Work It Out).
