Neil Tennant has been writing new material with The Blessed Madonna.
The Pet Shop Boys singer posed for a snap with the producer, which she shared online across social media, revealing the new collaboration.
“Pop kids,” she penned. “They say never meet your idols but when your idol is Neil Tennant, I highly recommend it.
“I would tell you it was an incredible honor writing with Neil, and it of course was a great honor. But more than anything it was just incredibly fun and I’m so grateful for another day writing music with such a lovely person.”
It’s unclear whether the song is part of a forthcoming project from the group or something else.
Pet Shop Boys released their 14th LP ‘Hotspot’ in 2020, marking the third in a trilogy of albums produced by Stuart Price.
The album includes the singles Dreamland, Burning the Heather, Monkey Business and I Don’t Wanna.
