Little Mix star Perrie Edwards is set to go solo with her debut single Forget About Us.
The track is the first release from the singer since the band embarked upon an extended hiatus and was announced on social media alongside the single artwork.
“‘Here’s the truth of it….’,” she wrote, seemingly teasing lyrics from the track. “Wow it’s happening!! My first solo single Forget About Us is coming, available to pre-save now.”
Perrie’s debut single Forget About Us is out April 12 and available to pre-save here.
While further details of Perrie’s album remain under wraps, OfficialCharts reports the album was recorded between her home studio and Weymouth, and features collaborations with two huge pop names.
According to the outlet, Ed Sheeran co-wrote the lead single along with a second, as-yet-unnamed track on the album, while RAYE has also contributed to the project.
