Paul McCartney is to tour Australia for the first time since 2017 later this year.
The Beatles legend will perform a run of six shows throughout October and November as part of his ‘Got Back’ tour, launching at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on October 18.
It marks his first gig in the city in 30 years, after skipping out on Adelaide during his last run of shows.
He’ll also play Melbourne, Newcastle and Sydney in October, before rounding out the run with stops in Brisbane and the Gold Coast in November.
“I’ve got so many amazing memories of my time in Australia over the years,” says Macca. “Our last trip was so much fun. We had such an incredible time. Each show was a party, so we know this is going to be incredibly special.
“Australia, we are going to rock! I can’t wait to see you.”
Tickets go on general sale August 11.
