Never-before-seen snaps of Freddie Mercury and Queen will be printed for the first time in a new book by celebrated photographer Neal Preston.
Queen – The Neal Preston Photographs is a new coffee table book, featuring snaps of the rock group from 75 to 86, on and off stage, during the period that Preston followed the band on the road.
Neal was present on the legendary South America tour in 1981, Live Aid in 1985, and the band’s last tour with Freddie in 1986, among others.
Brian May gushed: “Neal just has the knack, the skill, to always be in the right place at the right time.”
May and Roger Taylor are involved in the project, and will share memories and anecdotes in the publication.
Queen – The Neal Preston Photographs is released 29 October. Pre-order the book from Waterstones and Amazon now.
