Netflix is working on a documentary series about the hunt for disgraced seventies pop star Gary Glitter.
The three-part series features previously unseen photographs and archive footage, documenting his life story and later conviction for child sex abuse and sexual offences.
The show includes the journalists who pursued the Do You Wanna Touch Me singer to bring him to justice, and alerted authorities to his whereabouts in Southeast Asia, leading to his arrest, plus conversations with victims of the ex-superstar.
Production has been underway for a number of months.
The programme is directed by Sam Hobkinson and produced by Cammy Millard. An air date has yet to be announced.
Glitter was imprisoned for downloading child pornography in 1999, convicted of child sexual abuse in 2006, with additional sexual offences in 2015. He was released on license in February 2023.
