Natasha Bedingfield is back with new music.
The Pocketful of Sunshine singer surprise-released her latest tune Lighthearted on digital platforms Friday, June 25.
Written by Simon Wilcox, Wayne Wilkins and Natasha herself, and produced by Wayne Wilkins and Billy Gerrity, the tune is the singer’s first since 2019 album ‘Roll With Me’.
A music video has already been shot for the tune and is set to drop soon, with Natasha revealing an accompanying dance routine in an Instagram post.
She penned: “New song out !!! I made a song with my friends. I Love it so much I couldn’t keep it to my self. some incredible people got involved. @rony_boyy and @damobhouse who I met on @tiktok created a new dance. Can’t wait for the video in a couple weeks – here is a snippet. They got ME doing moves ! Enjoy! [sic]”
It’s yet to be confirmed whether the release is standalone or part of a wider project.
