Miley Cyrus called for an end to Britney Spears’ conservatorship during her Fourth of July performance in Las Vegas this weekend.
The singer has long supported the Toxic star’s plight for freedom and covered her 2007 hit Gimme More while promoting her ‘Plastic Hearts’ LP last year.
Following Britney’s bombshell testimony in court last month, Miley reiterated her backing of the singer while performing her hit Party in the U.S.A at the opening of the Ayu Dayclub for Resorts World.

During the 2009 track, she changed the lyrics of the song to say, “The taxi man turned on the radio, he turned to me and said, ‘Free Britney, Free Britney!’,” garnering cheers from the crowd, TMZ reported.
The original lyric says, “That’s when the taxi man turned on the radio and a JAY-Z song was on,” but Miley explained: “We love Jay-Z, but we got to free this b**ch! It’s stressing me the f**k out!”
During Britney’s hearing on June 23, the I’m a Slave 4 U star insisted: “I’ve lied and told the whole world ‘I’m okay. And I’m happy.’ It’s a lie,” she said. “I thought [if] just maybe I said that enough… Because I’ve been in denial. I’ve been in shock. I am traumatised.
“You know, fake it till you make it. But now I’m telling you the truth. Okay? I’m not happy,” insisted the Stronger hitmaker. “I can’t sleep. I’m so angry. It’s insane. And I’m depressed. I cry every day.”
Following Britney’s shocking claims surrounding her treatment in the conservatorship, fans supporting the #FreeBritney movement and stars took to social media to lend their support.
