Michelle Visage appears to have dropped major hints she’s the voice behind the Dragon on The Masked Singer UK.
When series two of the show kicked off on Boxing Day, viewers were quick to guess that the mystery celebrity, whose costume has a rainbow flag on its chest, was singer and drag queen, Courtney Act.
However, while promoting the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK on Thursday, January 14th, the former Seduction star refused to deny she could be taking part in this year’s series, admitting she “loves” the singing competition
“I mean… should I say yes or no…” she said.”I think you just have to watch and find out.
“I love the show. I love it in America as well. It’s really great fun.
“I just love everybody guessing – keep guessing.”
In their first VT, Dragon said : “The thing about dragons it they’re all fire and strength on the outside, but they just want to be loved.
“Becoming a dragon has meant I’ve literally become a big character, but I’m not entirely sure that’s how I’m usually thought of.
“Anyways, I mustn’t drag on…”
After the performance, they added: “I might be cute, but sometimes I have a fiery temper.”
After weeks of performances, viewers have started to come round to the idea of Michelle being behind the mask, with one sharing online: “Courtney Act trending because everyone seems to think she is the Dragon……. y’all are so wrong????
“It’s LITERALLY Michelle Visage WAKE UP.”
“Dragon is Michelle Visage 100%,” said another, while a third insisted: “I’m convinced it’s Michelle Visage…
“DRAGon… rainbow colour chest… listen to the accent it’s got that broad NY twang…”
The first three weeks of the show have seen a series of massive pop stars eliminated, with Sophie Ellis Bextor’s Alien the first to get the chop.
Spice Girl Mel B followed in week two, with singer/actress Martine McCutcheon exiting during the following show.
The Masked Singer airs Saturdays on ITV.
